Hannah founded the Green Crew in 2021 as the youth program of the Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America. Through a variety of projects, the Green Crew works to combat climate anxiety, defend the earth, and conserve nature. Run by youth for youth, Hannah currently serves as the Green Crew's Vice President. Green Crew's Earth Day 2023 Project, the Elm Tree Reforestation Project, was organized by Hannah in partnership with the University of Minnesota. The project was the first field test of American elm trees identified as resistence to Dutch Elm Disease. Hannah directed 500 volunteers over the course of the two days in planting 83 elm trees. During the summer, Hannah has served as the Program Director of the Green Crew's "Green Summer" program, which offers conservation service to the larger community as well as enviormental education to school groups.
In September of 2025, Hannah spoke at the UN Climate Mic Drop event in New York City during UN Climate Week. Sponsored by Rolling Stone and the Izaak Walton League, Hannah spoke on climate restoration, debunked the myth of net zero, and called for environmental organizations to make 25% of their board under 25 years old.
